The Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID) is sending a campaign bus around the UK to tell us how we can become more aware of those who are deaf.
Their way of making the invisible disability more visible, the campaign bus was unveiled at a ceremony in London aimed at raising public awareness and introducing deaf people to types of new technology available to them, such as text phones. Between now and 2 February the bus will be traveling across the UK, coming to the South West on Thursday, when it starts its journey from Exeter's Deaf Academy.
