Northern Ireland Screen's Digital Film Archive
Launched in 2000, Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive spans from 1897 to the present day and currently contains an ever-expanding catalogue of 13,000 items. It comprises material from a variety of depositors including feature films, sport, documentaries, animation, amateur footage, light entertainment, and a significant proportion of broadcast material from the UTV Archive.

Lifestyle magazine series for all the family, featuring items on the Child Support Agency and losing a pet.

Presenter Helen Mark gives an overview of what is coming up on this edition of the weekly family and lifestyle magazine show. Stephen Nolan reports on a father contemplating suicide through dealings with the Child Support Agency. Nolan stands outside the agency's office building where they cancelled an interview minutes before it was due to take place. Nolan reveals that the CSA refused to answer any questions over the phone or to come into the studio.

Report on coming to terms with the loss of a pet. Tessa and Kate O'Hanlon are interviewed sitting with their dog and talk about how they dealt with losing their hamster when they were younger. Pat Hart of Cedar Grove Vets talks about breaking bad news to owners. Ann Ingram of Cranmore Pet Crematorium discusses the grief of pet owners. Isobel Quinliven, a pet bereavement counsellor, talks about how to break the news of pets dying to children.

Shauna Quinn talks about her dad Turlough and his need for a makeover. Tailor, Hugo Finlay, asks him about dress preferences and hairstylist, Bill Harris, begins work on his hair. Dirk Lakeman is in studio with his two children helping him as he shows how to prepare a family meal in just ten minutes. Turlough and Shauna Quinn come to the studio to reveal the new look for Turlough.

The Family Show (previously named Family Life) was a weekly magazine style series presenting reports and in-studio features on family matters, from young children, education, mothers, fathers and issues for the elderly, as well as items on cooking, shopping and leisure.

Consumer, health and family issues combine in this UTV magazine series from the early 2000s.
Helen Mark presented this eclectic weekly show for Ulster Television, which embraced all aspects of family life from the home and garden to healthcare; from retail to education; from consumer protection to organisations providing care for those in need. Originally called Family Life before morphing into the Family Show, the series provides a warm snapshot of the times as it deals with the issues affecting everyone from young children to the elderly in the early days of the new century. And it was also to provide a platform for a young rising star in the shape of Stephen Nolan, who embarked upon his award-winning broadcasting career as a roving consumer reporter for the series.
