Maurice Kennedy of the Institute of Advanced Motorists talks about reaction times and misinterpretation of road signs. Tom Cairns of Age Concern believes that people should be driving into their 80s. Helen Mark makes viewers aware they have a fact sheet available on the subject.
A report on back pain and bad posture sees John Martin, a chartered physiotherapist, talking about the scale of the problem and the number of days lost at work. John shows kids how to sit properly at their desks in school. He shows a gentleman how to prepare his desk area better in his home office. Lata Sharma, Mary Johnston and Stephen Nolan are in studio for another weigh-in in an ongoing weight loss feature. Their three advisers are in studio also to see how they get on and discuss the results.
Report on ADHD in children by Gillian Ievers. Dr Larry Martel, a consultant paediatrician, reassures people that it is very much a real condition which has been extensively studied. Gayle Nixon, an education psychologist, on the educational needs of sufferers. There is also discussion on medication to alleviate the symptoms.
