The programme includes previously unseen footage from the 1930s of one of Britain's first theme parks, Golden Acre park in Leeds. Other stories include an affectionate look at a Colliery Brass Band in the 1960s, the pioneers of climbing in the Peak District, a typical church fete from the 1950s, and a charming Sunday School outing to the coast.
