A look at how people celebrated the big events over the past one hundred years, from birthday parties to the Festival of Britain.
Throughout the year, across the country, and around the world, people come together to celebrate occasions such as holidays, natural events, sports victories, and life milestones. Celebrations enable people to have a good time and demonstrate what is important to them and their culture. Here we see how Yorkshire celebrates its Black Dyke Mills Brass Band, as well as royal visits and Jubilees, in style.
