A look at how our attitudes to food and food production have changed over the past 100 years.
Food Glorious Food takes a look at how our attitudes to food and food production have changed over the past 100 years. The programme looks a farming in the fifties in the Yorkshire Wolds, takes us into a fish dock in Hull to look at the work of the men unloading the fish and filleting them, and remembers the early days of the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate. It also looks at the genesis of the Jackson supermarket chain and goes back to 1964 and the baking of the world's largest pie in Denby Dale.
