Launched in 2000, Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive spans from 1897 to the present day and currently contains an ever-expanding catalogue of 13,000 items. It comprises material from a variety of depositors including feature films, sport, documentaries, animation, amateur footage, light entertainment, and a significant proportion of broadcast material from the UTV Archive.

A tour of a new fashion and design centre in Belfast and some of the latest locally designed fashion lines.
Two fashion and design students get a chance to see the newly opened Fashion and Design Centre in Belfast. There are plans for the centre to be a place for students and the public to use for designing, making, and showcasing fashion. Several local designers speak about their latest designs and the process behind them.
Anne Hailes joined Ulster Television as a production assistant. She went on to present Ask Anne, one of the station's most viewed programmes at the time.

Lifestyle show that covered all types of topics, from health and family matters to education and consumer advice.
Anne Hailes started her career with UTV right at the beginning. Joining just as the station began broadcasting in 1959. This was the start of a long media career that spanned decades and various broadcasters across the UK.
Ask Anne was created in collaboration with the producer Harry Adair. Its no-nonsense approach to consumer affairs and lifestyle advice made it one of UTV’s highest rated shows in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Topics covered in this collection range from fashion and food to anxiety and education. Have a look and gain an insight into what everyday concerns were on the minds of Northern Irish people of the time.
