Whiskey Galore! (UTV Live at 6)
An answer to a thirsty prayer!
It sounds like a good old tall tale from yer man down the pub. Two Ardglass fishermen couldn't believe their luck when they found a cache of whiskey, wine, rum and vodka in the Irish sea. The drink came from a container that fell off a transport ship during a storm. It's estimated that there are around 120,000 bottles left to find. The two men soon found new friends who volunteered to help give the stash a good home, but they are keeping the discovery location a secret to keep their drink in the drink.
UTV Live is UTV's nightly news programme. It airs every weeknight from 18:00 to 18:30 and has been broadcasting since 1993.
