The old expression 'laughter is the best medicine' has some truth to it. Now, a study found at the University of Baltimore in the USA has found that laughter improves health. Stephen Nolan goes on a rib-tickling mission for The Family Show to investigate the claim. He interviews members of the Belfast public, including PUP MLA Billy Hutchinson. But are the jokes toe curling or genuinely funny? You decide!
The Family Show (previously named Family Life) was a weekly magazine style series presenting reports and in-studio features on family matters, from young children, education, mothers, fathers and issues for the elderly, as well as items on cooking, shopping and leisure.
