Henry Kelly reports from the London preview of a work in progress screening of Michael Winner's new film, Appointment by Death, and interviews Matthew Pritchard, grandson of Agatha Christie who oversaw the Agatha Christie Trust. Pritchard discusses the reasons for a new adaptation, the enduring appeal of Christie's work and what she was like as a grandmother.

Reggae/pop star Eddy Grant from Guyana is the week's celebrity reviewer talking to Henry about the autobiography of rock and roll veteran Chuck Berry. Henry concludes the programme with a rundown of the top ten bestselling UK paperbacks.

The Write Stuff was a weekly round-up of the world of books, authors and publishing and was a contribution from Ulster Television to the ITV network's daytime schedules.
