Taking direct action - environmental activism in the Midlothian woods with Harry Halpin.
A look at a typical day in the life of Harry Halpin and other environmental activists in their campsite home in Bilston Glen, Midlothian. The camp was established by protestors trying to prevent the building of a bypass road through the woodland area. The activists' daily routine includes scavenging for food, communal meals, and keeping the camp habitable in its cold and muddy location. Harry also goes to Stirling University for a teach-in with interested students.
