Stationery cupboard talks office rules.
Overwhelmed by forms and complicated systems, an inexperienced member of staff is schooled in store room organisation by a talking stationery cupboard. In the modern era of working from home, virtual networks and the internet, it's hard to imagine that offices were once dominated by paper and it all had to be stored somewhere.
Originally intended to inform government staff about effective management of the stationery store room, this film uses humour to deliver its message. Produced by the Central Office of Information for the Benefits Agency, it's an interesting reminder of office life before the rise of the 'paperless' office.
Internal government department film about the Printing and Stationery Service. A talking stationery cupboard teaches an office worker about the basics of office administration and health and safety.
