It is September 1989, and a new Sikh temple is opening in Tudor Street in the Riverside area of Cardiff. Members of the Sikh community dance, drum and chant in the joyful procession (which includes decorated floats) through the city's streets to the new purpose-built temple, the Sri Dasmais Singh Sabha Gurdwara - where men, women and children gather for celebration and prayers. People of various faiths are in attendance.
