Time for a pint of Herefordshire's most famous alcoholic export.
At Much Marcle in Herefordshire Peter Green looks at the success story of Weston's Cider. With sales up 50 per cent since the early 1970s, particularly amongst younger drinkers, the company had much to celebrate. Smaller than county rivals Bulmer's, the family run firm of H. Weston was producing over a million gallons of cider a year, with even the company boss rolling up his sleeves during the busy harvest season.
Peter Green visits the cider manufacturer Weston's at Much Marcle in Herefordshire, who are enjoying a sales boom.
