A different type of miners' dispute in the Derbyshire village with no working mines.
When the brewery Marston's replaced the sign on The Miners Arms pub in the Derbyshire village of Brassington with an image of a coal miner, little did they know it would be seen as erasing an important piece of local history. For, as reporter Nick Franklin finds out, this was never a coal mining area but the heartland of the county's ancient lead mining industry, memories of which were kept alive by some of The Miners Arms' older drinkers.
