What We Want Is Watney's Army
A young Michael Caine bursts on to the scene as a cheeky soldier in this delightful advert for Watney's beer.
To the rowdy tune of 'One Man Went to Mow', a young Michael Caine drinks pale ale while his Army chum prefers Watney's Brown in this entertaining advert. Have they been caught out, or will the Sergeant join them for a drink? This 1959 appearance came near the dawn of Caine's career - it would be another five years before his big break and a starring role in Zulu (1964).
