You have to believe in something...
Reporter Alan Cuthbertson meets with a very superstitious Devonshire man, on the unlucky-for-some Friday 13th. Arthur Blaydon has always stayed home on Friday 13th and today is no exception. In conversation Arthur mentions that his mother used to dress as a Gypsy, and strongly believed in myths and superstitions herself. He continues to throw salt over his left shoulder and crosses the road if a man in a white cap walks towards him. He is unfazed by what others may think of his actions.
