North Cornwall's district planning department in trouble.
Brenda Parsons has got into some hot water with her colleagues. There is a call for her resignation as a North Cornwall district councillor. Brenda was featured on Channel 4's Cutting Edge documentary 'Concrete and Cream Teas', which challenged North Cornwall's district council's planning procedures. She exposed the council, saying she personally had seen many instances of corruption.
Her fellow councillors would like to see Mrs Parsons' evidence for these claims. The auditor has issued a warning with regard to the council's planning decisions, which only appears to lend weight to Mrs Parson's claims.
