Charlie Williams hosts crossbow shooting game show with contestants in the studio and viewers at home participating over the telephone.

Comedian Charlie Williams presents the game show with hostess Anne Aston. Contestants aimed at targets displayed on a series of large illustrated scenes, on this show the theme was ‘pollution’. Contestants on the telephone instruct a blindfold marksman to aim and shoot a crossbow at the targets. Contestants in the studio aim from a console using a joystick and in a later round aim the crossbows themselves at a moving target. The best contestant competes against the previous winner to have a chance at shooting for the ultimate prize - a thread on apple target opening a treasure chest of ‘gold coins’. The show was broadcast live.

Studio guests performing songs on the show include Dana and Ken Goodwin. Ken Goodwin was better known at the time as a stand-up comedian, often appearing on variety shows and Granada Television’s ‘The Comedians’.
