Saturday evening light entertainment featuring a game show interspersed with comedy sketches with special guests and a celebrity dustbin.

Every week 3-2-1 had a theme, for this show sketches, music and dance on the theme of ‘space’. Hosted by comedian Ted Rogers, the game show element features three couples competing for a big prize; a holiday, a television and the star prize – a car! After two rounds the remaining couple are left with a series of objects, each with a cryptic clue, representing a prize. The couple has to solve the clues to discard objects (hopefully the booby prize, Dusty Bin) and be left with one object remaining. As each object is discarded Ted reads out the solution to the clue revealing which prize they had rejected. The somewhat complicated solutions would often lead to quite baffled expressions on the part of the contestants as to what exactly the prize was.

Special guests on the show are Pat Coombs, Roy Kinnear and Neil Innes.
