Enter the Merry Music Shop, but be warned you might be singing when you leave. The bassoon is not the most fashionable of instruments but its characterful sound make it perfect for cartooning. George Moreno had worked in animation in his native US, before military service brought him to Britain. Making a new home he produced adverts and cartoons, including 'Bubble and Squeak' about the adventures of a taxi and its driver.
