Experience life on the American Central Pacific Railroad without ever having to leave Nottinghamshire, or, in fact, without needing to move at all.
For the Sharmer family of Lowdham in Nottinghamshire, home is a railway carriage. This is no life on the move though: the carriages that make up their home were hauled into position in 1906 by a local eccentric with help from neighbouring villagers, and they are not going anywhere. It's certainly a long way from the old American west where the carriages originated from.
