Models showcase the latest fashion in Truro (Westward Diary)

Truro treated to models displaying the fashion of the age and a fashionista discusses the latest 1970s trends.

The people of Truro are shown the latest fashion to hit the high street by a group of female models. The women are filmed outside the city's historic cathedral, talking on a public telephone and walking down the street. Onlookers are also interviewed in order to convey the public's opinion of the 1970s textile trends on show.

The fashionista in the film is John Anthony Thornhill Lumley-Savile, 4th Baron Savile, keen to introduce new fashion ideas from London to Cornwall.
