Gaels Yeehaw! Musical programme mixing contemporary Gaelic songs and Country and Western music.
""It has been claimed that country music emerged from the music of the Gael,'' claims this first edition of a new music and song series mixing up Country and Western and Gaelic musical traditions.
The venue is the Grand Ole Opry on Paisley Road Toll, Glasgow and modelled on its namesake, the 'Mother Church of Country Music' in Nashville, Tennessee. The Glasgow venue opened its doors in 1974 and in its heyday attracted over 450 people to enjoy live country and western music.
