A Short Tall Story

A Short Tall Story

This animated allegory with a message of mediation was so successful it was adopted by the United Nations

The outlook is cloudy for the beings on this far off land. The Shorts and the Talls just can't see eye to eye until a mediating fairy arrives to help them make ends meet. Tony White's film wasn't made on behalf of the United Nations, but they adopted it some years after its completion. He would later win a BAFTA for his film Hokusai: An Animated Sketchbook (1978)

In the same land live tall and short people. They are separated by a constant cloud which means they cannot relate to each other. A good spirit attempts to help them by granting them three wishes.
