Urban park rangers bridge community divides with summer ping pong, and a disillusioned dad realises his dream of sailing.
A look at the importance of voluntary and community organisations across Yorkshire and the benefits they bring to both the individual as well as the wider public. Organisations featured include the Manningham Mills Sports Association in Bradford, the Waterways Museum and Sobriety Society in Goole and the Pavilion Project inside Pearson Park, Hull. As well as looking at the good work these organisations do, there are discussions about how the organisations are funded through local government.
