Keep Wales Tidy / Cedwch Gymru'n Daclus

It's no joke - litter - even if an American, a Scotsman and an Englishman are involved!

An American, a Scotsman and an Englishman would probably walk into a bar in Wales, or a shop or a castle or two, if they weren't put off by litter which, when it accumulates, is no joke. This public information film appeals to Welsh pride to Keep Wales Tidy, exhorting good citizens to bear down on any litter they see like a dragon in full flame!

Keep Britain Tidy, an environmental charity, was set up in 1955, spearheaded by the Women's Institute, and in the 1970s public information films on the subject were produced, along with campaigns to reduce littering and nurture pride in and care for the shared environment.
