Rickmansworth Week 1956

The home of George Eliot, folk dancing and an amateur film night feature in this newsreel about Rickmansworth Week.

Specially commended by Amateur Cine World, this amateur newsreel reports on the Rickmansworth Week festivities. Highlights include traditional folk dancing and an amateur film night hosted by the Pinner Cine Society where their latest ‘story film in colour' is screened to a full house using a 16mm projector with synchronised sound on disc. Later, a local tour passes by the home of George Eliot.
