Formed from a variety of depositors, including broadcast news and programmes material from the Westward and TSW archive. In 2018 the archive collection transferred to The Box in Plymouth.

Up Up and Away - Pensioners take Brymon flight

A group of pensioners celebrating their first ever flight on an aeroplane. The oldest member of the group is ninety years old. They are celebrating this day on a Brymon Airway flight and Westward TV presenter Lawrie Quayle is there to pour the champagne in celebration and gauge the thoughts of the interviewed pensioners.

Brymon Airway used to be based in Brymon House at Plymouth City Airport with a branch at Newquay. The company was co-founded by journalist Bill Bryce and Formula One race car driver Chris Amon. Brymon operated flights in the UK to the Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly and London but also to France.
