Behind the scenes at a Christian training college for women teachers in Madras (Chennai). The school was founded in 1923 and still exists today, now known as St Christopher's College of Education. The film, an amateur production on 16mm by the London Missionary Society, contains a wealth of fascinating details including the trainees giving lessons to Indian children in several age groups.

Depicts a day in the life of students at St. Christopher's Training College, Madras, managed by British and American Missions. The College was established for women undertaking teacher training, and the film shows lessons taking place in English with children of all ages - Kindergarten to High School. Staff featured on the film include Miss Scudder (American) and Mrs Charles.
