Farming Scenes

Enjoy a delightful year on a Kentish farm complete with Tractor Girls, Hereford cattle, ferrets, rabbit shooting and the Eastbourne Show

This film, from the Breit family, shows a year on a Kentish farm near Meopham. Roller-skating children and girls driving tractors and collecting straw bales starts the film. We also see numerous farm animals including Hereford cattle, new-born lambs, the family Dachshund and a pair of albino ferrets. A wintry rabbit shoot takes place while the harvest is gathered under a clear blue summer sky. Finally, one of the Hereford bulls wins second prize at the Eastbourne Show.
