The East Anglian Film Archive, the UK's first regional film archive, offers a unique record of the East of England's social and cultural history. As part of the University of East Anglia, we continue to lead moving image heritage research and inspire audience participation through community projects and events. Our collections represent a broad range of amateur and professional creativity, from 1896 to the present day.

Holiday on the North Norfolk Coast

A Countryside Club film showing all of the picturesque hotspots on the North Norfolk Coast, including Cromer cliffs and beach, where a fisherman sorts a catch of crabs, Cley-next-the-Sea, Burnham Overy Staithe, Morston Quay, and the beautiful Blakeney Point nature reserve. The landscape looks idyllic; windmills, quaint cottages, lavender fields, fishing boats – all against the backdrop of blue skies. There’s also time for Scottish country dancing on a village green.
