Student Rag Procession in Manchester 1966

Fancy dress, floats, and fundraising - all the essential student rag ingredients are on display here. And, of course, as this is Manchester, brollies are required, but rain doesn't stop the parade. Friends and family, passing shoppers, even casual onlookers cheerfully brave the weather to view the show. The students are clearly having a whale of a time, or should that be a pink elephant...?
