Whoops! When the resolute and independent-minded Jenny accidentally breaks her mother's treasured china dog, she's determined to replace it. Leaving only a note behind, she jumps on a train to Kent to earn a bit of money hop picking in the countryside. Jenny - brilliantly played by the popular child actor Mandy Miller - may not be your typical hop picker from the East London slums, but she isn't afraid of sleeping rough and mucking in.
