Harrow Marathon and Shrove Tuesday in Pinner

Amateur newsreel covering the Harrow Marathon and a packed Shrove Tuesday event on Pinner High Street attended by Ronny Barker.

A well-produced soundtrack and narration accompany scenes from the second Harrow Marathon, which featured 700 runners racing amongst the traffic of Headstone Lane. Moving to Pinner High Street, Morris dancing, pancake racing and Ronny Barker – who would have been appearing on Open All Hours at the time –make for a great day out for locals.
