A Boy's Life in the East End

This amateur documentary excerpt opens with a portrait of the cramped environment of the East End - “four or five families per house!” The camera pans the streets, lamenting their dilapidation. Markets packed, buildings broken. An index of the “types of boys” provides insight into their world and some of many problems they face including street gambling.
