Brighton scenes

The changing face of Brighton is seen in this interesting amateur film from 1965.

This interesting film shows various locations in Brighton; the Royal Pavilion, Old Steine, Grand Parade and public gardens in Preston Park and Hove. Often filmed from a car, we get views of the traffic on Brighton's roads along with cars, advert hoardings, shop fronts and other street scenes. We also see a carnival parade along the promenade - where every float seems to be sponsored by a company or product, as well as vintage cars competing in the London to Brighton Rally.
