A family stays at the famous Greenbank Hotel. The hotel has been at the seafront in Falmouth since it was built in 1640. In the eighteenth century packet ship captains used to reside here while ashore and famous guests to have stayed here include the social reformer and founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale and former secretary of the Bank of England and Wind in the Willows author Kenneth Grahame.
