1978 Elizabeth & David

Tin cans, streamers and a VW Beetle make for a wedding with a distinctly 70s flavour.

It was common to bring out the cine camera on special family occasions and this wedding was no exception. The filmmaker captures the blushing bride and groom outside a church in West London, and fabulous flowery frocks and fashions add to the 1970s flavour as wedding guests wave off the newlyweds who depart for their honeymoon in a VW Beetle decorated with the obligatory tin cans and streamers.
