The Box
Established in 1992, the South West Film & Television Archive collection spans from 1893 to the present day containing more than 250,000 items. Formed from a variety of depositors, including broadcast news and programmes material from the Westward and TSW archive. In 2018 the archive collection transferred to The Box in Plymouth.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh travel the globe for their Silver Jubilee World Tour and take in Cornwall on the way

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh are visiting Truro, Cornwall as part of their Silver Jubilee Royal Tour. The Queen is greeted by fellow dignitaries and locals at Truro City Hall before going on a walkabout, receiving flowers from a member of the girl guides. On the steps of Truro Cathedral the Queen is welcomed by the Bishop of Truro Cathedral.
