A Royal Visit to the Hants & Isle of Wight Constabulary

Starting with an inspection parade, we see Princess Margaret on her visit to the new headquarters of Hampshire Constabulary in West Hill, Winchester. Standing on a rostrum, she takes the salute of policemen marching past, riding on motorcycles and leading police dogs. A small motorcade of police cars passes by before we see Princess Margaret unveiling a plaque inside the new building. She then sees a demonstration of fingerprint-taking and an HRH 66 numberplate.
