From the collection of

East Anglian Film Archive at the University of East Anglia
The East Anglian Film Archive, the UK's first regional film archive, offers a unique record of the East of England's social and cultural history. As part of the University of East Anglia, we continue to lead moving image heritage research and inspire audience participation through community projects and events. Our collections represent a broad range of amateur and professional creativity, from 1896 to the present day.

A View of Cambridge

As part of the ‘About Britain’ strand, Anglia TV paint a picture of the University city, exploring opinions on the value of an education at Cambridge for both men and women, the development of central Cambridge and the split between the academic role of the city and the local residents. The Cambridge Union invite Rt Hon Peter Shore, MP; Sir Roy Harrod; Mr William Davis, Editor of Punch and Sir John Peel, MEP to debate Britain’s membership of the EEC.
