This England - London Scenes and Life

From the Tower of London to Hyde Park Corner, this is a wonderful short sharp tour of several London landmarks.

This film starts by showing the Lord Mayor of London at St Dunstan's In The East, before rapidly spooling through shots of several London landmarks including Tower Hill, Tower Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Admiralty Arch and Parliament Square. Odd delights include an elevated shot of Bush House along Kingsway, Hyde Park Corner from a police helicopter, Harrow children rehearsing for VE day and sailors strolling past a Tower Hill fruit stall.

Amateur footage of a variety of scenes in and around London.
