Shoreham Peeps 2

A local epic about Shoreham-by-Sea featuring Girl Guides, a District Nurse, a Summer Fair, more Morris dancers, an airshow, a funeral and a long-haired beatnik.

The life of Shoreham continues in this amateur film with a guides and brownies get-together on the beach followed by tea and a sing-song. Then we see a District Nurse tending to elderly patients and a fete for the RNLI. A long-haired beatnik is spotted about the town while Miss Round Table appears at yet another fete, where the highlight is a 'twisting' competition. Spitfires roar over Shoreham Airport before we see the funeral of an ex-harbour-master.
