Seder 1963

Family and friends begin their Passover celebrations in Greater Manchester.

In Greater Manchester, a Jewish family and their friends come together on the15th day of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar for Seder, the ceremony marking the start of Passover. Seated in the dining room, the young sons of the family deliver their readings and the youngest boy asks the four traditional questions. There are then scenes from the meal later on that evening.
