Part of Manchester Metropolitan University Library’s Cultural Collections, and based within Manchester Central Library’s Archives+ partnership, we are a specialist resource dedicated to saving and growing our region’s rich filmed history.

Delamere Forest

Delamere Forest is one of the glories of rural Cheshire, so join talented amateur filmmaker Ernest Hart with his family - and their dog - on their expeditions into the depths of the woodland. Whether picnicking, tree climbing, play fighting in the ferns, or trying a spot of acrobatics, there is plenty here to keep daughter Norma and the rest of the family entertained.
