Simon Dee (Now and Then)

Bernard Braden interviews chat show host Simon Dee about the press, the Labour government and his pot smoking habits

Bernard Braden interviews chat show host and disc jockey Simon Dee about his views on the press (he had recently been the subject of a scurrilous newspaper article), the problems that his guests can present when on his television show, and his dislike of Harold Wilson and the Labour government. He would later claim that he became the victim of an Establishment conspiracy over his outspoken political views. He also admits to smoking cannabis and endorses the benefits of its recreational use.

Current TV personality. Filmed on occasion when in some day he was fined £20
(third offence) for driving at 110 mph, and Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones
sentenced to three months imprisonment for smoking pot. Dee agrees on film
that he smokes Pot.
