Mother Nature strikes: this early newsreel takes a look at the wreckage of a factory under construction, which has been completely wrecked by a gale. Girders and stanchions can be seen twisted and strewn across the construction site, and as men repair broken beams the true scale of the damage becomes clear. The film is dated 1 April 1916, but the serious damage is no April Fools prank. The location unfortunately remains a mystery.
