Cutting for Style

Cutting for Style

An instructional film presented as a visual aid to hairdressers. A woman named
Miss Pinkley, unhappy with her style, arranges an appointment with her
hairdresser. Her boyfriend drives her to the salon. Various styling techniques
are demonstrated, including rough shaping with scissors, moulding to shape,
razor cutting and setting. Miss Pinkley eventually emerges from the salon with
an elaborate new hairstyle. Her boyfriend collects her in an open topped
sports car and they speed happily away. She waves to her friends as they drive
along. Arriving home, she chats to a neighbour about her new hairstyle. Her
boyfriend, tired of waiting for her, goes to the pub. Miss Pinkley goes
indoors and brushes her hair, smiling into the camera.
