"...And Then There Was One"
Explanation and treatment of four cases of depressive illness with explanation
of prognoses and chemistry of drugs used, as well as ECT. Intended mainly for
general practitioners.
Deals with the subject of depression, arguing that its symptoms are frequently overlooked by those in general practice. This is illustrated with four examples: a salesman increasingly overburdened with work and personal problems; a young mother unable to cope with her home and family; a female factory worker with a repeatitive job whose advanced stage of depression are not recognised by his doctor and who commits suicide following another fruitless visit to the surgery.
